Incidents in the past 24 hours

  • A large fire broke out in a distribution centre in Toa Payoh. Firefighters responded and extinguished the blaze after 8 hours. Initial investigations suggest that this was the result of arson, although it is unclear what the motivation was for this act. The owner of the distribution centre is known to be in significant debt and had taken out a large insurance policy the week before. Agents believe the case will never be solved.

  • Multiple car thefts have been reported in the bay area. It appears that the cars have been opened using an electronic key imitator. Each car has been driven erratically before being ditched, undamaged, and another car has then immediately been taken. So far we have had no success in locating the perpetrator, as by the time we have found the car it has already been abandoned.
  • A shipment of illegal weapons was seized at the port, hidden in a consignment of bananas. When customs officials peeled the bananas, it was found they contained ammunition and explosives. Unfortunately, one agent had eaten one of the ‘bananas’ without checking its contents and exploded shortly afterwards.
